Please join us for The 2019 Maryland Family Engagement Summit: “Understanding Implicit Bias: Engaging Families in Culturally Responsive Ways,” featuring keynote Dr. Rosemarie Allen, a national expert on implicit bias and culturally responsive practices.

The Summit offers access to the resources, tools, and support services offered to early care and education providers, families, and communities based on the goals included in Maryland’s Early Childhood Family Engagement Framework and PreK-12 Family Engagement Framework.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn strategies about family engagement, including engaging families in culturally responsive ways. The Summit is a collegiate and supportive atmosphere for exchanging ideas with colleagues and experienced principal coaches, as well as hearing from early childhood experts.

A light breakfast and buffet lunch will be served.
