MAEC invites families, family engagement specialists, and school community members to join this webinar to examine the challenges that families face in accessing and interpreting educational data. This webinar will build on family voice by engaging family leaders as speakers, reviewing the results of an MAEC survey of families and caregivers, and engaging audience feedback during the webinar. The findings shared and gained within this webinar will inform the development of MAEC’s educational data guides, which will connect families with the tools they need to support their students’ academic achievement.In this webinar, we will:
(1) Identify and examine the challenges that families face when it comes to accessing and interpreting their students’ educational data and
(2) Share strategies that can address barriers to accessing educational data.
