In the midst of ever-evolving demographic shifts in 21st century school communities, school leaders encounter and are charged with educating youth from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, home environments, and life experiences. Culturally responsive leadership "involves those leadership philosophies, practices, and policies that create inclusive schooling environments for students and families from ethnically and culturally diverse backgrounds.1"
