How to Teach Culturally Responsive Social Studies When Everything Is Controversial
At a time when it may be considered controversial to teach about the experiences and histories of diverse populations, it is more important than ever for teachers to support their students with culturally responsive pedagogy and practice. MAEC’s third segment of the Reflecting, Reimagining, and Reforming Education series focuses on how social studies teachers can embed culturally responsive teaching practices into their curriculum.
